Our weekend near Calgary

This past weekend I took the kids to Calgary area to visit some friends who we haven't seen in a long time and who are also moving. It was fun to catch up!! We also went to the Zoo and Drumheller. And no trip to Calgary is complete without a visit to Bass Pro!

We borrowed a bouncy house for Sawyers birthday at the farm and kept it (we might still have it).

The kids loved playing in it! Like 3 hours worth of fun! 

Sawyer's birthday celebration extravaganza!

On Sunday we invited 8 friends out to the farm to celebrate Sawyer entering into her 5th year of life! 

We had horse rides for everyone (I didn't get pictures of them all). It was fun to watch the 'city' kids experience farm life! It was so cold but none of them cared. Most were in barefeet by the end of the day! 

We were lucky enough to have a calf born the morning of the party! She was about 6 hours old here! 

Sawyer has loved being 5 so far! Yes, it's only been 3 days but she has been telling everyone that she is 5 and a big girl!
